President Muhammadu Buhari has on Wednesday commended Nigerian youths for their contributions towards changing the country for good.
The President made this statement while delivering his speech at the State House in Abuja during the commemoration of the International Youth Day 2015, stressing that Youths are architects of change.
He said: “As part of the commemoration of Int’l Youth Day, I’d like to throw this challenge to Nigerians at home and abroad.
“I can assure you, my young compatriots, that you have written your names in history and you will be remembered as true heroes of our democracy and as architects of change.
“This year’s theme – ‘Youth Civic Engagement’ – couldn’t be more apt, considering the vital roles young Nigerians played in the 2015 elections,” he said.
